Anti-Bullying Charter

Miss Milovsorov, Leader of Lifestyles: As we start a new academic year and get back into life at the Academy and spending time with our peers it is important we remind ourselves about how we should behave towards each other. Every student has now signed their agreement with the bullying charter and we all need to be vigilant to identify any bullying behaviour quickly. Bullying can be defined as repeated behaviour which is intended to hurt someone either emotionally or physically, and is often aimed at people because of certain differences such as their race, religion, gender or appearance.

Bullying can take many forms including:
 teasing
 name calling
 making threats
 physical assault
 cyber bullying

If you believe you are being bullied or know someone that is being bullied it is really important that you tell someone. You could tell your Form Tutor, a teacher or your Intervention Coordinator, who will all be able to assist you with the problems you are experiencing.
