The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (CEOP) work across the UK tackling child sex abuse and provide advice for parents, young people and professionals.
CEOP have created a fantastic resource of information for students and parents on their ThinkUKnow website, click here to take a look. They have also created a guide on how to use parental controls to help keep your child safe, click here for a direct link to the guide.

We are working hard to make sure all students, staff and parents are aware of E-Safety issues. All users must agree to an ‘Acceptable User Policy’ every time they login to the network. A copy of the Acceptable User Policy students and staff agree to can be found in the e-Safety policy. Network activity is monitored in real time, and digital footprints periodically checked. Web content is filtered via Dudley Grid for Learning (DGfL) before it enters our network, and it is filtered further by ourselves. Network software monitoring keywords and providing image recognition helps to further keep our students safe when using a computer. Social networking sites are filtered.
360 Degree Safe Mark
Ms Juliet Joy, assessor for South West Grid for Learning recently visited the Academy to review the school’s online safety provision. Juliet met staff, parents and carers, Governors and members of the student leadership team and was pleased to find that the school provides a high level of protection for users of digital technologies.
On the 22nd September 2017, Ron Richards, Lead Assessor for the 360 Degree Safe Online Safety Mark congratulated Holly Hall on its success in gaining the award. He commented that it was re-assuring to know that the Academy had put a lot of thought and effort into improving the online safety of staff and young people by addressing these important safeguarding issues.
